I came across this graphic that shows where on the pitch each team is shooting from this season. What surprised me were the variations between clubs. For example, Hull don’t tend to shoot from wide positions but West Brom nearly always shoot in the box, right in front of the goal. Looking at Liverpool, there’s a nice spread of positions inside and outside the box but with a bias towards the right hand side, probably due to when Sturridge and Mane have played on the right. I’m not sure whether this graphic has any real value but I found it interesting nevertheless.
