Will LFC pull themselves together and face the manc devils like real men or do we join the ranks of mid-table teams as eternal strugglers straining to make an impact? The devils have a new scoring sensation in Rashford whilst we’re still trying to find the scoring touch. The Europa is our only chance of silverware and ECL qualification and I hope we go all the way!!

Don’t know mate, it is very tough , the least am hoping is to beat the manacs , I have some friends (man u fans) who are already bullying around, can’t wait till next season to keep their mouth shut…. 😡 , Europa is a far stretch, this team has lot of heart in their performance but that is not sufficient enough like we witnessed in the cup final…

I don’t think the Europa is the only thing to play for. We must climb the league if we are to have European football next season and we need to be high enough to avoid the Europa qualification rounds which would mess up our American pre-season. We also need to end the season on a high not a low like last season where we took our form into the current season.

I am not sure if we want Europa again, I sincerely hope we finish eighth , give it all in the premier league and get top 4 and hopefully win FA or Captial One, that would be a realistic target for the next season.

Agreed its a mixed blessing but what we definitely want to avoid is having to pre-qualify.

Let’s cool our jets about Rashbum being a scoring genius for the scum. It was his first match. Many players announce themselves with much ado in their first match or so, only for it to be much ado about nothing. They have that young blonde winger who I can see his face but can’t honestly even think of his name who is out on loan and hasn’t done anything much since a couple good games under Moysie. I’m sure a couple weeks under LVG now that he’ll be working with him will suck the life out of him.
Personally I think it a rather favorable draw compared to some of the others that were available, ie Sevilla, Spurs, traveling to Shaktar.

I am rooted to the Europa. After Manure, who do we have next? Can we go all the way and win it beating even teams like Dortmund, Sevilla ? Wow…that would be even better than winning the PL and I’d forget out Wembley loss instantly!

I don’t know about the entire tournament Ezanih, I won’t be able to digest if we do not get past those old trashfordians … 😡 , of all the defeats , loosing against them hurts me most , especially when they almost do nothing through out the game and get away with a win… 😡

well now that we dispatched the mancs with a great win and a great display shows we can bounce back, besides we lost in a penalty shoot out and we all know that can go any way..

more so i am happy we kept a clean sheet..it was not easy to do that with Kolo and flanno making some great blocks and Lovern and clyne playing their part..

All in all it shows we can take on any team if we put in the effort and i say effort i mean effort…we ran and tackled, shoved and shouted the whole game not for just 20 minutes and to me thats what won us the game and if we carry on with that mentality we can achieve great things starting with a creaming of manure…

Hopefully all these new young guys who are performing well for them have enough time under LVG that he has his affect on them and they decline and suck like the rest of the team who has worked with him longer.
Couple that with the inconsistencies of youth and I think a two-legged tie is to our advantage.

Apparently they struggled against Watford and didn’t deserve anything out of the match but being the jammiest team I’ve ever come across they again picked up 3 points. How can a team play so sheite all season and still be in contention for a place in the top 4. We have the players, the manager and the fans to beat them comfortably, all we need is the attitude.

Agree mate, the last time we played Man U , our performance was almost similar to our last victory against city, the Man U match just lacked end product, we did not convert the chances, now that the confidence is back we will witness a better performance, hopefully Sturridge will be fit and available by that game, even if he spends 50 odd mins on the pitch and plays well, we will be in a comfortable position, we have looked very good when we start with Origi as well, Klopp and co was very happy with the draw and he did mention he would love to give a strong reply to Man U… common reds… YNWA.
