Now that Joe Hart is being pushed out, he apparently is open to a move to LFC.

With Karius out and needing a hand surgery, and Migs yet to convince many, should LFC open their arms to Hart and give him a chance for the job?

Depth is great most places, but 3 keepers fighting to start might upset the apple cart.

I think if we got him, it would mean Migs would have to go, most likely battling for the job until the January window at this late point of the summer window.

What’s your thoughts?

Get him in asap, can’t understand why we haven’t made a move for him straight away, top class keeper and still has a few years left at his peak, not sure what he would cost but is surely worth between 15-20mill, get him onboard LFC.

“Meanwhile, City are prepared to pay up to £90,000 of Hart’s £120,000-a-week wages to move the out-of-favour goalkeeper on. (Daily Mirror)” This is fast becoming a no-brainer!

Because Klopp can be a bit stubborn when it comes to his choices and Karis is one of his. We have watched Hart over the years but Klopp hasn’t. No matter what we think is a good idea, he will not demote Karis before he even starts a game in the PL, so the debate ends there.

I can’t understand Guardiola’s fixation with the removal of Hart. It’s not that Hart was responsible for City’s underperformance specially in Europe for the past few seasons. It’s a pity Hart’s availability comes after LFC has gotten Karius otherwise it’s a much easier decision for FSG to make.

I don’t see the problem in having 3 keepers, it makes for healthy competition, we could put migs in the under 23 team just like Ings and make him fight his way back to the first team but to be honest i’d rather we sold him.

If we can sell Mignolet then I’m all for getting Hart in.

Imagine being Karius right now – you were an in-demand first choice keeper in the Bundesliga, you move to Liverpool expecting to become the number one, you break your hand and everyone’s talking about the England number one taking your place. Not many keepers could say they’d been replaced before playing a competitive match for their new club. Wherever Hart goes he’s going to expect to be the first choice keeper to allow him to maintain his England position. That would make for three international keepers fighting for a starting spot and I don’t think it would take long before at least one became disillusioned and asked to leave. Had we not signed Karius then bringing in Hart would be a no-brainer but to have three top level keepers in the squad at the same time is a recipe for discontent.

If we bring him in…. that’s 4 keepers on our squad, Migs, Karius, Manni and Hart. If City are preparing to pay 3 quarters of his salary then it would be a smart move for FSG to pay him last quarter £30,000 from this loan move. Hart is a big strong fella and leader… I’d take him on board with us even it’s for a season with a loan.
