With Wales outperforming the 3 Lions in the Euro, Joe Allen has suddenly come under the limelight. Wonder how much is Swansea willing to bid for the Welsh Xavi or is it the Welsh Pirlo?! Hehehe!!

It’s great to see Wales having success, I actually live in Wales (just) so have a bit of a soft spot for them in this competition. To win the group is a huge achievement.

To see Joe at the heart of it is great and will give Klopp something to think about, but… With Grujic arriving competition for places will be tougher and the lack of European football may leave Allen’s game time limited.

I’d like to see him stay, if he can stay injury free for a while he’s a valuable player to the club. I suspect the final say on his future will come down to Joe himself, if he receives a good offer as a regular started elsewhere I wouldn’t blame him for moving on.

It was #JoeAllenAppreciationDay on Twitter yesterday and his name was trending all around the world. It was nice to see so much positive energy being directed his way, a good use of social media for once.
