Great to see Jordan Rossiter return to action last night in the U21’s unlucky 3-2 defeat to Man Utd.  He played for an hour and did really well.  I especially enjoyed a couple of crunching tackles on big Maroune Fellaini.  The Southampton game will come too early for him but he could play a part against Sion.  Texeira and Randall were left out so could be involved v the Saints.  It was disappointing for the young lads to come back from 2-0 down against an experienced United team only to concede late on, but Sinclair and Madger Gomez will be pleased to have scored past Argentina World Cup Final goalkeeper Romero.

Always painful losing to that shower but it was great to see rossiter on the pitch again. I hope randell being left out means that clyne will get a rest tomorrow night, would like to see moreno get a rest aswell but who do you bring in, i know enrique played lastnight, could he get 45 and give 45 too moreno, he has to get some sort of a rest before he breaks down.

I feel it’s really positive at the moment with more players returning from injury at a really good time before the key Xmas period. We’re qualified in the Europa League too so that’s a great opportunity to field a team that needs match fitness. Even with Gomez and Ings out long term, the squad looks like there’s alot of options for Klopp except both fullback and winger positions. I guess wingers could be filled by our No.10s Firmino and Lallana but we could do with a top quality player capable of putting a decent ball in.
