After a question was posed, Klopp said: “I don’t talk with The S*n anymore. I don’t speak with The S*n anymore. You can listen.

“It’s not because I’m with Liverpool now. It’s because of a few things that will happen in the next few days or few weeks, I don’t know.”

Addressing S*n reporter Antony Kastrinakis, Klopp added: “It’s not personal. You’re still working for The S*n, right? That’s it.

“You can listen and you can write what you want.”

Lanoisseforp:

This is all down to when the S*n ran story about a certain player’s wife (I won’t name him here) for having an affair. I don’t really know what Klopp meant by “It’s not because I’m with Liverpool now. It’s because of a few things that will happen in the next few days or few weeks, I don’t know.” I loved how he stood up to the *** reporter and the S*n are still making trouble as usual… they need to be shut down like what happened to the News of the World a few years ago.

I seen this earlier and wondered what the background was, thanks for filling in the blanks. It was quite an impressive response from the gaffer, be interesting to see if this unfolds further in the coming days/weeks. If their planning to publish a big scandal days before the season starts then that’s pretty low ever for them.

Klopp may have been contacted by a S*n reporter for a response to a story that has not yet been run, that’s how people are usually made aware that a story involving them is about to make it into print. On Merseyside at the moment there is a concerted effort to get people to stop buying and selling The S*n and it’s proving quite successful. A number of shops have stopped selling the paper as a result.

Apparently they were writing a story on Lovren not wearing his wedding ring and that his wife was leaving him. It’s the absolute worst piece of *** “newspaper”
