So even the great Rafa can’t stop the Leicester juggernaut from rolling on. Not a great game to watch but a great result. Funny thing is I don’t want Newcastle to go down now. Just as a matter of interest would anyone on here swap Klopp for Rafa I know I wouldn’t. Rafa plays not to lose, Klopp plays to win and it’s much better on the eye.

Klopp needs to get LFC on a good run of wins, otherwise he’s another LFC manager who struggles to get 1.5 pts average per game. Rafa’s game is not that exciting but he’s won silverware in every major European league club he’s managed so far. But with the Magpies it’s the first time he’s involved in the EPL relegation scrap…

I love rafa and not just for obvious reasons, he’s a top class manager who we very nearly won the lge with. I seriously hope newcastle stay up now, not a great start but his first game against a team that are gonna win the lge is excusable, best of luck rafa.

Warrior you old coach you … just think about PL next season – Rafa Benitez, Klopp, Wenger, Pep Guardiola, Wenger, Jose Mourinho .. and just throw in Claudio Ranieri and a temperamental Alan Pardew and it should be a boiling pot of managers !!! Have not seen such a congregation of great managers in the EPL per season … it seems they all have “migrated” to just get a brand of fast, physical English football…hi hi hi hi hi

No contest for me. Rafa’s teams are pragmatic, Klopp’s are exciting. Rafa gave us some great memories but Klopp is the future.

I was a Rafa fan and thought he should have stayed, but change came along for what ever reason, and we gave a new man at the helm, and in him I believe, he the Klopp will take us on a great ride, and we will gain silver ware with him.
