Yesterday we were told Origi had returned to Liverpool with a thigh injury, today it is Benteke returning with an undisclosed problem.  We are always worried during the international break in case of injuries but these players hadn’t even played a game and they’re crocked!  So with Ings a long term injury and Firmino also injured we only have one fit striker Daniel Sturridge and will he survive the international break unscathed?  I bet Spurs and Dortmund are rubbing their hands.

The curse of LFC injuries returns to haunt Klopp just when we need to get on a good run to make something out of this season!

Given they’re both Belgians who have just used air travel we should probably be thankful they’ve only got muscle strains. Simply by flying another day things could’ve been much worse.

Not concerned about benteke as he won’t, or dosen’t look like he’ll be with us next season but we can certainly do without Origi developing an injury history as i feel he’s our future up front, hopefully it’s not serious.

It would almost be a shame that Benteke went this summer, and then we bring in one or two class wingers. Hasn’t Klopp indicated he wants a winger this summer? Maybe Benteke does have a chance

Good news and bad news spring to mind, you can decide which is which. Also Firmino is expected to recover during the international break, fingers crossed.

Origi is, at the moment the important one, need him fit, he is just coming into some form, benteke could come good maybe needs more time on the field, will he be given time over the summer pre season training to prove himself

if Firminho can get back, we can play him as false 9, send Sturiddge after 60 mins, if Studdge play 3 games for 60 mins, he will be injured for the rest of the season….
