A fan favourite struggling to win his place back into the first team.  Defensively we still have issues and I can’t help but feel that tough tackling Sakho partnered with Matip the silky smooth defender will address alot of those issues.  Both are around the same age as well.  I think of them as a Skrtel/Agger partnership except the right footed defender being more of a ball player and the left footed defender the tough tackler.  Hopefully Klopp and Sakho can somehow reconcile their differences.

I’m not at all suggesting that Klopp wasn’t right by sending Sakho home after the doping and lack of discipline but if we are going to achieve something special this season, the team has to be defensively powerful and I can’t help but feel that a Sakho on the top of his game together with Matip can get us there.

Klavan provides good backup, Joe Gomez needs plenty of time and Lucas can do a job but is no starter at CB.  Having 3 top CBs in Lovren, Sakho and Matip is going to help get through the Xmas/New year schedule.  The journos have stopped asking about Sakho. He is the forgotten man and I think he will leave in January.

I’d be amazed if Klopp doesn’t try to offload Sakho in the January window. All managers at some point have players they just don’t like and it’s clear for Klopp that player is Sakho. I can’t see anything changing that. Putting him in with the under 21’s was merely a way of wearing down his resistance to leaving, I don’t think Klopp had any intention of restoring him to the first team, to be honest. By all accounts, Sakho hasn’t exactly been setting the world alight in the under 21’s. I might be wrong but I’d bet money on the fact Sakho’s ship has already sailed at Liverpool.

Sacko has been decent but not outstanding for the U23’s. Ilori has looked the better of the two central defenders. Sacko makes too many mistakes. He’ll make a great tackle one minute then give the ball away in a poor position the next. To be honest I don’t want to see him in the first team again and I can’t see Klopp welcoming him back.

I haven’t changed my mind about him but to be fair to Sacko he was outstanding against Reading yesterday and managed to get on the score sheet.

No future for sakho at LFC i feel, i had high hopes for him at one stage and thought he could be a beast for us and he was at times but when he left anfield after being subbed last season my opinion changed about him and then of course he’s been mouthing of on social media recently. There’s obviously a problem with his attitude and klopp won’t stand for that, exit stage left in january or next summer, can’t recall what we paid for him but if we can recoup half or even all of it then i think the sooner the better that happens for all concerned.

After the Dortmound game I thought we had our rock in defense. However, the ony rocks were in his head and he’s gone from fan favorite to soon to be gone. Darn waste of talent.
