Quick word on today’s game, can’t see hendo playing, looks like his heel problem has flared up again. Will klopp rest a few players or stick with a winning team? Will origi or studge start? Me personaly, we play our strongest team and worry about resting players later, it’s a lge game and we need to win to stay on the back of chelsea. As little change as possible imo, get the game won in the first hour and then make some changes but start with the same team as our last 3 games with the exception of hendo i feel. All must win games now and i feel we’ll win this one comfortably.

It’s difficult to predict the team for this game. Ideally a few players would be given a rest but because of injuries the changes could be very limited. Sturridge did not take part against City so I would expect him or Origi who was only sub in that game to replace Henderson (whose injury is not a recurrence of last season’s but a new one on his other foot).. They may both play with Firmino given a much needed rest. Moreno could come in at left back instead of Milner but would Klopp want to leave out both his skipper and vice-captain? I don’t expect an easy game with Sunderland battling against relegation and we saw their park the bus approach at Anfield that nearly worked. However they have also got injuries and they also played on Saturday They may try to attack a bit more with them being the home team and that should leave space behind for us to exploit. If we can improve our passing in the final third from the City game I think we will win by a couple of goals but its not a result we can take for granted.

Adam Lallana is such an incredible talent. he played against City, less than 48 hours later 80 mins in to a game where he’s covered the entire ground a few times over he still looks as silky of footballer as ever!
