from out of the blue it is reported that LFC ave made a £25m bid for highly rated Shakhtar Donetsk

attacker Alex Teixeira. Ian Ayre the ends chief executive has flown out to Florida to try and carry out the deal. But Shakhtar value him at £39 m. So some negotiaton needs to take place, hope they done miss out for a few quid, when you think we paid £32 for Big Ben. Alex is a goal scoring at ting mid field player with great ball skills. If we sign him it wifi. Be a big statement of intent. He as currently scored 22goals in 15 Leauge appearances, with four further goals coming in European competition. He. Can also play in a number of attacking positions. That could give us a front line of Teixeira, firmino, and Courtihno. Mouth. Watering thought, come on Ayers earn you money and get it done.

He is scored a lot, it will be a full on Brazilian front three which should be good in any competition, 22 goals in the season, he certainly has an eye for the goal, he will be **** useful in Europa mate, more than anything else , we can’t go relying on false 9 (Firminho) to deliver the entire season, firm needs a partner in crime for sure…

Also heard about about Tello ( La Masia product) , he is an out and out striker, wouldn’t mind getting him as well, I for one think we can still have a go at the Europa League and Capital one, grind victories in PL, let us think about the players who are coming back from the injury later ….. 😛

Ha ha Koped49 you really need to stop using predictive text. Not seen him play so if Klopp thinks he’s good enough then that’s good enough for me. I here some saying he is not a striker so he is not what we need. That imo is crazy if he scores goals then he is a striker, surely it doesn’t matter where you play if you score goals. At this point in time we have a player who is supposed to score goals for us but he doesn’t, what difference does it make what you call him. If Klopp went with a front 4 of Firmino, Cou, Tex, and Ibe from now until the end of the season and got top 4, scoring lots of goals would we say he is not what we need. Let’s hope we can get him, he is rated highly by folks who have watched him.

I’m the same sometimes I can’t be bothered to read through my posts. It’s actually quite funny sometimes like your ting midfield player 🙂

Have we any more news on this guy. The last I heard Ayre was in America to speak with him and Shaktar. I hope this gets done sooner rather than later, I’m half expecting Chelsea to come back in for him.

It’s high time we get a worthy successor to Suarez. The ones we got hardly cut it; more suitable to making a beeline to the Melwood treatment tables than to the scoring box…

Wow how times change, serious money offer for a lad with minimal proven worth, it just shows how the game has changed over the years. King Kenny at 400k was a snip. Lets hope we get the nod before getting interest from others

I have to admit i’ve never seen this guy in action but i’ve obviously heard and read a bit about him and he’s highly rated by all accounts. I’m hoping klopp has made it very clear to ayre and fsg that he wants this player and that we don’t miss out, yet again, because fsg wouldn’t pay that extra 5-6 or 7 mill to get him in, time to join the big boys mr henry if you want us to be mixing it at the top of the table.

It amazes me when people talk about transfers now. I hope we don’t lose out because of 5.6 or 7 Mil like these figures are peanuts. These figures could be the difference between getting 1 now or getting 2 in the summer. Are we really in such a state , that we should just pay whatever they want. As was said in another thread top 4 for us looks like it’s gone so why pay over the odds for a player. He looks a great player but there are no guarantees in football that he is good enough to take us to where we want to be.

I don’t know if henry is a money billionare but he owns franchises worth billions so on paper he’s a billionare, i don’t think 5-6 or 7 million would be a concern to him, if he aint willing to pay that bit extra to get a player in that klopp wants then he’s just a tight fisted miserable bast!!d, would you not agree spanish???

Don’t get me wrong warrior I do agree with you he wouldn’t bat an eyelid at 7mil it’s us fans I’m talking about we say just pay it, as if it’s peanuts.

And why did Chelsea walk away from this with the money they have.

I think Texiera might be walking away from them mate… 😛 because I don’t see Oscar and Hazard will stay in the summer(best partners for him) , even if they get him, he won’t be their star next season , they will spend a lot in the summer window, except for the money right now , there is nothing in Stamford Bridge, unfortunately these days money is all that matters for foreign players ….

However If Texiera wants to break into the Brazilian National team , he probably wants to play with the Count and Firmino and perform well to grab attention from the Brazil National Team, if that is his ambition and not money , love to have that kind of player in our team, play well for us and get a place in the national team…. win win situation for us and him..

Yes top 4 is gone, but why should we give up on Europa League, try to win it with all you can do, love to go in to the next season and window as Champions, ofcourse its very tough, hope Klopp is taking Europa seriously… 😎

I’m a bit shocked by this. Considering how much has been spent on players, you can’t say the club are lacking ambition. They are certainly trying even though most of our spending has come from player sales, at least we can that and more has been re-invested into the team. My hope is that he will live up expectations. If Lovren, Sakho, Henderson, Firmino and Benteke can live up to their transfer costs then we truly will have a good team to compete. Other than Sakho and Henderson, the others haven’t met expectations but Lovren’s coming along so Benteke should be given time. This guy could be a great deal if he can replicate his Ukranian form. With our Brazilian connections already in the team he’ll adjust well.

Come on Ayre, I know I have been a little rough on you with your previous dealings with the Ukrainian clubs, but next time the charm?? Getting a in form and healthy striker will be a new experience for us followers. Anyone seen him play?

warrior18

I can’t recall seeing him play sage but highly rated by all accounts, he should fit right in at LFC and feel at home, he’s just done a hamstring 😀 😀 😀

He is mobile , looks like a bull , presses high , eye for a goal, the ideal no. 10 , someone who can partner Firm , no wonder Klopp wants him….. hopefully owners can get him , if we wait till summer , we will have to face competition from other clubs, especially Chelsea , BVB and other teams because Aubameyang might be sold by BVB they will get truck load of money from his sale , they can buy Texiera and couple of other players with that money, he suits LFC and Dortmund as well , fingers crossed … this is the right time…. please get him FSG….

Apparently, we’re gonna go in with another offer of about £30m including add-ons. Plus he’s just come out said that he wants to leave, and that Anfield is his prefered destination.

Read this morning that we’ve sorted out personal terms with Tex, it’s just Donetsk holding out for as much as they can get, but like I said yesterday, he wants out, and may end up forcing through a move
